Samsung broke another sales record with 145 million Smartphones and left iPhone behind with its previous year’s sales graph. This has happened with Samsung shipping so far only 42 million Smartphones this year that has a good lot of Samsung Galaxy S2 and its allied models. Currently Samsung owns close to 29 per cent of the Smartphone industry that is right above the 35 million of Apple’s iPhones, thus Samsung constitutes a little above than a quarter of the Smartphone market.
The Smartphone market has exploded exponentially since the last one year since the popularity of the feature phones have gone down. With the latest anticipated sequel of the Galaxy S II, the Samsung Galaxy S III, the firm intends to add on to the previous volume of 145 million Smartphones it has shipped earlier. This figure related to sales is the volume of phones which is sent to the retail shops rather than bought by the customers.
This week if you happen to put together the old fashioned feature phone along with the Smatphones then you will see Samsung to be a clear winner with the total number of phone production while it has knocked out Nokia off its top spot for the first time ever in the past 14 years.
