Samsung has won the patent case against Apple as a British High court judge gave the judgment that the design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is not so simple that it could be confused with the design of the Apple iPad. The judge gave the ruling for the lawsuit, which was filed over the intellectual property and design and the question was if Samsung has copied the design of iPad.

The ruling was made by the judge Colin Birss and it means that Apple has no right to stop the import or sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 as Apple cannot claim anymore that the design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is copied from the iPad from Apple.

In US also, Samsung has got a partial victory over another lawsuit after the court lifted the ban on sales of the Galaxy Nexus Smartphone. When the Samsung Galaxy Tablets and the Apple iPad are viewed from the front, both of them look similar, but Samsung devices are thinner and have much more details on the back.

Both these companies are fighting legal battles in about 10 different countries and they accuse each other of violation of  patents. The ultimate aim of both of the companies is to have supremacy in the global market of mobile devices.
