The Samsung series 7 slate has recently been released in Asia. The tablet is much larger than its contemporaries and has 11.6 inch screen. It comes with a black bezel and a plastic back and reminds you of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This has more ports than any other slate. You have a USB port, HDMI port, microSD slot as well as SIM card slots.
The slate features the powerful icore5 processor. It comes with an in-built 2 GB RAM. It supports Windows 7, which further supports the touch input. Samsung has also created its own customer interface which gives you the benefit of larger icons and widgets. The slate will probably become more powerful after the launch of Windows 8. For the time being it is a little awkward to handle due to its large screen but makes up for that with its in-built features.
