A US District Court has ruled out the electronics giant Samsung’s bid to have sales prohibition against its Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 lifted.
Samsung was formerly slapped with the prohibition after Apple forwarded complaint that it replicated its iPad in a slavish manner.
The actuality that the Samsung Galaxy Tab boasts a varied aspect proportion screen, special operating system and different hardware did not factor into the equation.
On the whole, it has been a dreadful week for Samsung on the lawful front.
Apple also made many attempts to get a provisional injunction against the Galaxy Nexus during the past week and it does not emerge to be doing fine in other cases lodged by Apple, either.
Samsung stated that it was saddened by the decision to stay the ban, whilst an Apple insider told that “blatant copying” is erroneous and that Apple requires defending its ideas.
At this point it appears Samsung would have a lot more triumph importing its gear into the United States through Mexican drug cartels that the port of Long Beach.
