Apple’s New iPad have many rivals and competition. Amongst them, Asus Transformer Pad and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 are the most prominent ones. Let’s compare the three and check out the best one for you:
Screen:
- New iPad’s best feature is the new screen it has. With the Retina display, the HD screen is a steal. With a resolution of 2048×1536 it’s a must buy.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a little larger than the New iPad. With resolution of 2800×800 pixels, it cannot beat the New iPad by any means.
- Asus Transformer Pad has a screen resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, which is again nothing compared to the New iPad but yes it’s the best resolution available in the Android tablets.
Processor:
- New iPad with the all new A5X dual-core chip and quad-core graphics.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with 1 GHz dual-core processor.
- Asus Transformer Pad comes with the all new Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chip. Well, nothing beats Asus Transformer Pad in
the processor.
Design:
- New iPad is not a lot different than iPad2, in fact it is thicker and bit bulky than iPad2.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is very comfortable to hold but are you sure the plain back of the tab won’t bore you?
- Asus Transformer Pad has a beautiful metallic body with fine curves and though not the slimmest in store but attractive enough for you.
Extra stuff to look for:
- New iPad has a feature called iPhoto is one of the best additions they made in the new iPad. How can we forget the comprehensive iCloud services the new iPad offers.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 brings out the best from Google Play with options of multiple home screens and very well designed social networking apps.
- Asus Transformer Pad’s best addition is the keyboard dock it carries. Making typing long letters easy for you.
- New iPad with the price tag of £399 for the starting range is worth the buy for its remarkable features, specially the screen resolution, as it is said HD!
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the same price tag as the New iPad(nothing is announced officially). Android though the best part of the tab. It cannot beat the new iPad.
- Asus Transformer Pad has again no official details on price but expected to be charged £500, sounds costly than the others but it has remarkable features too.
We are not taking any position on this. You decide which one will suit you and buy according to your requirement and budget. But from the look of things, it seems the New iPad definitely holds a clear edge over its rivals.
