For some time the latest tablet of Samsung, the Galaxy Tab II, has been receiving some good attention from the developers who have invented ClockworkMod recovery and root access for it. Later on the list of app we can hope for the CyanogenMod 9.

The existing means for recovery and root are provided for the time being for the Galaxy Tab II (7-inch) variant and not for the 10-inch variant. We have been waiting for quite sometime for its official launch as it was delayed for the quad-core processor of the Galaxy II version. On Last Friday, a lengthy root method was introduced to the market then the very next day on Saturday the ClockworkMod recovery was launched, which made things comparatively easier.

Many other Samsung tablets such as the Galaxy tab 8.9 or bigger tablet like the 10.1 have good amount of custom ROM’s like the CyanogenMod 9. This will make the Tab II (7-inch) receive the same kind of treatment very soon. As for now you may root it and feel the freedom to do whatever you would like to as the developers get into the custom ROM’s.
