Even if Apple wins the patent-infringement case against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Galaxy Nexus Smartphone, there might not be much impact on the market share of Samsung in the US as per one market analysts. On the contrary, the impact will be heavy if Apple wins the patent infringement case against the new Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphones.
Galaxy Nexus has got exposure to limited number of stores. So the injunction, if given, temporarily or permanently will not affect the sale of Samsung in US but the situation will be different if injunction is given for Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphones as it is getting launched through six carriers and has its biggest marketing campaign till date to support this product.
The market analysts are considering this product to be the strong competitor to the iPhone as all the national US carriers (4 in numbers) will be selling this Galaxy S3 smartphone under the same name and this is first time happening in the industry.
Considering the injunction against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, analysts have noted that Samsung has got multiple tablets in US not just the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the injunction will not be applicable to the 10.1 inch tablet and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
